Well, I just downloaded an update. Nothing on the GW update page yet. At first I assumed that it was just a little more halloween stuff being added in.

Then I saw something.

The login screen now no longer says "Guild Wars: Eye of the North" but just "Guild Wars."

Makes sense since they really don't need to keep "advertising" GW:EN anymore by now. Well, at least we won't get any more of those annoying "OMG I bought GW Factions but it says I have GW:EN" threads we keep getting in Q&A every 2 weeks.

If anybody found anything else in the update let us know (like the halloween masks in the .dat, hint hint).

i downloaded this update too and 'eye of the north logo' has alrdy been deleted

That was changed a few updates ago.

They changed the thing awhile ago and I don't think you can call it a Stealth update just yet, they might not have gotten the notes up. (it's probably small, it's not the first update of the month.)

the update was 1 file and that was it nothign to decompress or anythign i did a - image about 1 week ago

I'm betting it was info for the Halloween mask(s). I would suspect they don't put that in too early so that people don't have as much of a chance to pull it out of the dat file before tonight's party.

probably more halloween stuff. gearing up for the thorn king's return.

My guess is to the masks being put in the .dat file finally.

Along with new dialogue from Thorn for his "jokes."

It must be Halloween related stuff imo.

Im with you, i was freaked cuz i hadn't started farming it yet. If it had been nerfed idk what i would do, i cant go back to raptors now Lmao

The update before was probably an update for the mad king, adding the masks, all that kind of stuff.

id bet it was something to do with the security update from earlier and the upcoming big november update. they probably learned something with the halloween updates that needed to be put in place before the big one comes.

I dont think theyll nerf SF. Its no longer OP in UW farming (ectos are back to pre SF prices). The only OP think is that bludger lets you drop so many bombs so fast.

Yes but the shadowbombing has been going on for a long time now and it has zero effect on the economy, over half the players don't know about it. Why complain about an 'exploit' that everyone benefits from.

check the farming section. honestly, i would rather spend a bit more time using sliver and getting more drops than aoeing everything. and i want the old camp fire login again. old school ftw.
